Appointments can be made by telephoning the surgery on 248 6644 or by calling into the surgery. The reception staff will routinely ask the reason for the appointment so they can direct you to the most appropriate Health Care Professional. Expectations
Patients can expect to be offered an appointment with a Health Care Professional within 48 working hours. We would expect that you contact us to cancel/rearrange if you are unable to attend a pre-booked appointment. Each week between 50 and 70 patients do not turn up for their appointments resulting in others having to wait longer to see a clinician. It is practice policy to remove patients who do not attend for 3 appointments in a rolling year.
Home Visits
All home visits are assessed by the duty doctor. As a practice we only visit housebound patients. Requests for home visits should come into the surgery before 10.00am.
Chaperone
Doctors and patients who wish a chaperone to be present during examination or consultation should ask at reception and will be happy to arrange this.
