Clinical Staff

We have 10 Doctors and 4 specialist training Doctors, 4 nurses and 2 Health Care Assistants=. The practice is also supported by District Nurses, Phlebotomist and Community Psychiatric, Drug and Alcohol Teams.

Health promotion / dietary advice
Smears
Swabs
Sexual Health Screening
Contraception
Emergency Contraception
Routine Injections
Travel Advice

Or other areas at patients request. Our Practice Nurses are supported by 2 Health Care Assistants who may be involved in your care.

Our Nurses do not normally perform dressings, blood tests and ear syringing. These are arranged at Burnage Health Care Centre or Withington Community Hospital.

Consultations

Consultations are booked by appointment only. Patients may make an appointment with a doctor of their choice. We aim to provide same day care for urgent cases. The need for an appointment will be assessed by telephone consultation by the duty doctors and urgent appointments will be given if needed.

Appointments

Appointments can be made by telephoning the surgery on 248 6644 or by calling into the surgery. The reception staff will routinely ask the reason for the appointment so they can direct you to the most appropriate Health Care Professional. Presently we book up to one week in advance with all our Practice Nurses and up to 48 hours / 2days with all Doctors.
