Smoking, Alcohol & Obesity - FACTS

At the surgery we run special smoking cessation clinics where specially trained staff can advise you and support you in your efforts to help kick the habit.

We provide a full array of medical treatments to help you stop including nicotine replacement therapy (e.g. patches, gum, lozenges, inhalators, tablets) and medication including zyban and champix.

Our staff can assess whether you are a healthy weight, overweight or obese. They can advise you on how best to lose weight and support you through this.     Please ask at reception for an appointment to see one of our Nurses.

If you think you have a problem with your drinking then the surgery has a specialised Alcohol Team who can help you tackle the problem and safely reduce the amount of alcohol you are drinking.
