Our practice is built on the principle of providing quality care and reliable service.
We continue to grow by improving our standards of care in line with modern clinical guidelines, and listening to our customers.
Our unique service has been established in this area since 1966.
We moved to a new purpose built premises in August 2008
Equality of Access
This practice treat NHS patients. Non UK residents can be treated on a private basis if we have appointment availability. All patients are treated equally regardless of age, sex, race or sexual orientation.
Non NHS Charges
Procedures that are outside NHS provisions are charged for at rates suggested by the British Medical Association (list available)
Medical Students and Doctors in Training
The practice at times has medical students attached. Students may therefore be present when you see a healthcare professional in the practice. If you prefer that a student is not present during the time you see a doctor or a nurse please let the reception staff know.
The practice is involved in education of doctors in training. These are qualified doctors that may be following a future career in either hospital specialities or General Practice. These doctors will have clinics which are supported by partners and associates of the practice.
Complaints
There is a practice based complaints procedure. If you have any complaints/comments on the services we provide, please speak to or write to the practice manager. We will deal with all issues raised impartially, speedily and confidentially. We value your comments and hope that they will help us to improve our service.
Violent or Abusive Behaviour
The practice operates a zero tolerance policy for violent or abusive patients. Where it is felt necessary, incidents will be dealt with by police and result in immediate removal of the patient from the practice list.
