Appointments

Appointment Information

Bodey Medical Centre operates an Online Triage System each morning. You will be asked to complete a short questionnaire in order for the GP to assess your medical/ admin query appropriately. Online Triage is open Monday to Friday from 8.00 am and will close when we have reached capacity.

If you are unable to complete the online form please ring reception 0161 248 6644. The Reception team will be able to complete the Triage Form for you.
The Receptionists will need information for the doctor. Please be understanding of the need for Receptionists to ask questions.

Patients can request a certain GP but this is not always possible. We will accommodate where possible though.
These completed forms go to the on call GP who will then appoint an appropriate appointment for you. This appointment will aim to be within 2 weeks.

If you need a home visit you can request one below before 11am, you will be asked to complete a short Medical questionnaire in order for the GP to assess your medical problem appropriately. Online Triage is open Monday to Friday from 8.00 am and will close when we have reached capacity.

If we have reached full capacity and the Online Triage has closed you can call the practice on 0161 248 6644, please try to telephone reception before 11am.

A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.

If you no longer require your appointment, please make every effort to contact the surgery so that it can be made available to someone else.

This can either be done via the NHS APP or by replying to the text back number on appointment confirmations (this is only available for nurse/HCA appointments).
